Daniel Berg (Sweden)

Daniel Berg was born 1971 and teaches marimba at the University Colleges in Music in Gothenburg and Írebro in Sweden.
Daniel Berg was the first Swede who got a diploma in marimba playing in Sweden, and studied both his instrument at the Music Conservatory in Rotterdam (Holland) and at the University in Gothenburg.

Berg has been active as soloist with orchestras, as well as playing as soloist and/or in chamber music settings. In his passion to promote the marimba as a solo instrument, Daniel has worked intimately with a number of composers whi has written original music for the instrument.
Daniel Berg has several works for marimba published in the USA.
