| Rhona Clarke Born 1958 in Dublin, she studied music at University College, Dublin, pursued composition studies with John Buckley and James Wilson, and completed a Ph. D. at Queen´s University, Belfast. Her aim as a composer can be put into her own words: "To express the sensual and spiritual in the simplest, clearest way is what I try, and hope, to achieve".
Her music has been performed and broadcast throughout Ireland and Europe. Her output includes choral, chamber, orchestral and electronic works. |
