 Thomas Daub (Germany)
At the age of fourteen Thomas Daub embarked on intensive studies of the violin and the piano. His emerging interest in percussion music led to his winning first prize in the national competition 'Jungend musiziert' in 2001.
In November 2010 Thomas Daub released his first solo CD 'Marimba-Motions No. 1' in which he demonstrates the range and potential of the instrument. He is currently completing his Masters degree in Karlsruhe.
